Happy Saturday everyone! Though it is Thursday evening already, it feels as if the Mother's Day holiday is still impending. I wanted this past weekend to be extra special for my Mom, whom I love dearly and is so wonderful, so we planned an array of fun activities to do together- from getting our nails done to visiting a tea house to enjoy some quality time with one another and our family!

- ABOUT RED BRICK BAKERY -
I have been to Red Brick Bakery a number of times and have never left without having a great experience. It is important to note you will need a reservation for a sit-down tea session, so make sure to make one prior to arriving. You can do so by calling them (see photo above) or making a reservation here . A full session includes a variety of teas served alongside 4 courses of food. The first course is usually a scone which is followed by a salad or soup, the third course is the main dish, and the fourth is dessert. Upon visiting the bakery each time you will be greeted with a different and unique menu. Despite not liking everything I have ever tried here I love the way the evolving menu enables me to discover new foods I enjoy.

- Cranberry Sage Scone with Clotted Cream & Jam -

- Pineapple, Coconut, Sunflower Seed & Apple Cider Sage Vinaigrette Salad & Strawberry Soup Shooter -

- Turkey & Fruit Compote, Proscuitto Cucumber & Sage Butter Sandwich, Wrapped Veggie Spread, Creamy Ditallini Pasta Salad, Tomato & Cheese Skewer -

- Blackberry Sage Cake Square, Creme Brulee Puff, Mint Teacake, & Chocolate Ice Cream Shooter -

- WHAT I WORE -
Red Brick is not a required formal wear tea house, but I wanted to dress up a tad since it was a special occasion. I wore a peachy-nude duster with a red, gold, nude, and navy blue printed top, a pair of navy blue H&M slacks, and the nude stacked Aldo pumps I wrote about in my last post- which you can find here .

If you are local to, or happen to find yourself in or near the Red Lion area, I highly recommend you save yourself a spot at Red Brick Bakery and spend an afternoon here enjoying yourself! A morning/afternoon tea is the perfect remedy to decompress and reconnect with family and friends.
Happy (belated) Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!
